Terms of Service

1. The service

Averdonchats, Inc. provides software that creates AI agents to answer customer questions on websites and messaging channels, with the ability to transfer conversations to human staff. Features may evolve; we will not remove a core capability from a paid plan without notice.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the account details you give us, for keeping credentials confidential, and for the activity of users you invite. Tell us promptly at support@averdonchats.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Fees and billing

• Monthly plans are billed in advance and renew until cancelled.
• Usage above a plan's included volume is billed at the published overage rate.
• Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current period is not refunded pro rata.
• Prices are in US dollars and exclude any applicable taxes.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to:

• break the law or infringe someone else's rights;
• send unsolicited bulk messages or impersonate another organisation;
• upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer the platform;
• process highly sensitive categories of data without a written agreement covering them.

5. Your content

The documents, messages and other material you supply remain yours. You grant us the limited licence needed to host and process them in order to run the service for you. We do not use your content to train models offered to other customers.

6. Availability and AI output

We aim for continuous availability but cannot promise the service will never be interrupted. AI-generated replies depend on the material you provide and may contain mistakes; keep human review in place for decisions with legal, financial or safety consequences.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected with the service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

8. Termination

Either side may end the agreement with notice. We may suspend an account that breaches section 4 or leaves invoices unpaid. After termination you have thirty days to export your data before it is deleted.
